Is it still possible to join a group with Faisal?
There are no open retreats right now. But the yearly Gathering is open. In order to join this group you should at least have attended one group with any of his teachers, either the Lataif or the Diamond Body. Look at the calendar page for any scheduled retreats.
It is only possible to order audio cd's from the group you participated in. With the exception of the Lataif cd, this one you can order if you did the Lataif retreat with any of the teachers.
What about the prices from the audio cd's?
If you did attend a retreat you just pay the money for the actual cd, € 50,-. If you order a cd from a past retreat of your group you didn't attend you pay € 200 extra.
This is for the teachings and is roughly half of the price of the retreat.
If somewhere in the future you do a retreat with Faisal with the same topic you can get this amount of money as a discount for that retreat.
How does the Diamond Logos Teaching differ from the Ridhwan School?

He talks about two main differences:
- His own emphasis on the experiential sense and feeling of a particular quality of essence. This experience of essence will bring up the issues naturally. It's good to adress them but according to Faisal it's not necessary to elaborate on them too much. While in the Ridhwan school the issues form a great deal of the teachings rather then getting to the experience itself and it dictates the nature and depth of the issues.

Although understanding has a strong place in his teaching, his approach connects more to our personal hearts then to our minds. "the finality of the teaching descends in the heart".

Also Faisal is know for a strong transmission of essential qualities, states and vehicles.
What are the similarity between the Diamond Logos Teaching and the Ridhwan School?
Since in the beginning of the formulation of the Diamond Approach, Hameed and Faisal worked closely together, there are many similarities. The psychological understanding of the connection between essence and our personality, the use of enquiry and meditation, the precision of understanding and the open-endedness of the whole process.
But we also have to note that since the two schools have developed in separate ways for almost 20 years it's hard to tell exactly what the similarities and differences are.
What are the future plans of the Diamond Logos Teaching?
Changes are that Faisal might not start another group from cratch but will maintain the running groups. How he will be available for new students in the future is something unknown right now. The development of the teaching ofcourse never stops and there are ideas for a centre somewhere in Europe.
Faisal is currently teaching a large group of students the Work in order for them to give sessions and retreats. Some of them are already giving retreats and some of them give session using the understanding and experience of essence. Since Faisal invites his students to express his teaching in their unique personal way the development of the teaching might have some surprises in store for us...
